I am Divina Minocha, a Grade 11 student studying at Dhirubhai Ambani International School, deeply interested in economics, public policy, and the structural forces that shape inequality. Through studying labour markets, inflation trends, and income distribution, I became increasingly aware that the issue of minimum wage in India is not simply about numbers: it is about purchasing power, dignity, and economic opportunity.

WageWatch is an independent analytical platform where I examine minimum wage policies, compare state-level data, track real wage trends, and evaluate whether current wage floors align with the cost of living. The goal is not to take a political stance, but to apply economic reasoning and data analysis to understand whether the system is functioning effectively.
This project combines research, economic theory, and data visualization to make labour policy more transparent and accessible.
